Terms of service

The rules for using this site

These terms govern your use of the PrimeShift Ergonomics website. By accessing the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Published here is the current version. Last reviewed November 2026.

Use of the site

You may read, share, and link to our content for personal and internal business use. You may not republish substantial portions, resell access, or present our content as your own. Automated scraping that places load on our servers is not permitted.

That covers the ordinary ways people use this site: reading a workstation guide, sending a page to a colleague, or citing us in internal notes. It does not cover lifting whole sections into another publication, charging others for access to our material, or running scripts that hammer the server while you collect it.

Before you act on it

Everything here describes general desk-work ergonomics. It is written to help you compare setups and notice habits, not to diagnose or treat a condition. If pain, numbness, or weakness persists, that is a conversation for a clinician who can examine you.

Content and its limits

The content on this site is general ergonomics information for desk-based work. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a professional relationship. Setup recommendations depend on individual circumstances, and you apply them at your own discretion. Consult a qualified professional for health concerns.

In practice that means a desk height that suits one person may sit wrong for another, and an adjustment that helps at home may not transfer to a shared office chair. Treat every recommendation as a starting point you test against your own body, your own desk, and the hours you actually work. Where a page describes a sequence of adjustments, the order matters less than the result: shoulders relaxed, wrists roughly level, screen at a comfortable distance.

We do not assess your individual situation, we do not review your workstation, and we do not prescribe treatment. Nothing you send us by email or phone changes that.

Accuracy and updates

We aim to keep content accurate and current, and we revise pages when guidance changes. We do not warrant that every page is free of error or suitable for your specific situation. Content is provided as published at the time of your visit.

How revisions happen
When published guidance shifts, we rewrite the affected page rather than appending a note at the bottom, so what you read is the current version.
What is not promised
No page is guaranteed to be error-free, and no page can account for your desk, chair, or health history. Suitability for your situation is yours to judge.
The version you are reading
Content stands as published at the moment of your visit. If a page has changed since you last used it, the current text applies.

Intellectual property

Text and materials on this site are owned by PrimeShift Ergonomics or used with permission. Trademarks and brand names referenced remain the property of their respective owners.

When a product or brand appears in a guide, it appears because it illustrates a point about setup or movement. Naming it is not a claim of partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement in either direction.

Guidance you can try today, applied at your own judgement, on your own desk.

That is the shape of what this site offers: practical suggestions for desk-based work, not clinical advice, and not a substitute for someone who can look at your setup in person.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PrimeShift Ergonomics is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Read plainly: if you rearrange your desk following a suggestion here and something else in your work is affected, that outcome is not something we can take responsibility for. Where local law grants you rights that cannot be waived, those rights stay intact and these terms do not override them.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the version published here is current. Questions can be sent to [email protected], by phone at +62 21 2988 5456, or by post to Jl. HR Rasuna Said Blok X-2 Kav. 4, Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan, 12950.

If you are unsure whether something you want to do with our content is covered by these terms, ask before you publish it. Most requests from readers, teachers, and internal teams are straightforward to answer.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Jakarta time.
