A Jakarta work-room at noon — the setting our guidance is written for.

What this policy covers

This privacy policy explains how PrimeShift Ergonomics collects, uses, and retains personal data submitted through this website. It applies to visitors who use the contact form, email us, or simply browse the site.

We write ergonomics guidance for office, remote, and hybrid workers in Indonesia, and this page covers the data side of that work. If you have already read our cookie policy and terms of service, this document fills in the parts those pages do not cover — how long we keep an enquiry, who processes it, and how to ask us to correct or delete it.

Chapter one

Data we collect

When you submit the contact form or email us, we receive the details you provide. That typically includes your name, email address, and the content of your message — a question about workstation setup, a request for the sit-stand guidance, or a note about anything on this site.

Our servers also record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This information is used for site operation and security, and it is not combined with your message to build a profile of you.

Two kinds of data, kept apart

Data you give us
Name, email address, and the text of your enquiry. You choose what to send, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
Data the site records
IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. Kept for security and to see which guidance pages actually help readers.

Why we collect it

We use contact details to answer your question or topic request. If you write to us about your workstation, we reply about your workstation — your details are not added to a marketing list and are not sold.

Technical information keeps the site working, helps us detect abuse, and shows which pages are useful. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and no part of this site profiles you to change the prices, content, or advice you see.

If you ask us to stop holding your enquiry, we action that request rather than keep it for future reference.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and, where enabled, for analytics. Functional cookies keep the site behaving correctly as you move between pages; analytics cookies, if switched on, tell us which guidance pages are read most so we can improve them.

Details are set out in our cookie policy, including how to control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading any part of this site — the guidance pages work without them.

Read the cookie policy

We do not sell personal data.

Data may be processed by service providers that host the site or handle email delivery, and only to the extent needed to provide those services. We may disclose information where required by applicable law.

Retention

Contact messages
Kept for as long as needed to handle the query, plus a reasonable period afterward for reference. Ask us to delete an enquiry and we remove it.
Technical logs
Held for a limited period consistent with security and operational needs, then discarded on a rolling basis.
Analytics records
Where analytics is enabled, visit data is aggregated and kept only as long as it is useful for judging which pages readers use.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request — normally by confirming you can reply from the email address the enquiry came from. We answer within a reasonable period and tell you if we need anything further.

Ask for a copy

Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you, including the message you sent and the contact details attached to it.

Correct what is wrong

If your name, email address, or the content of your enquiry is inaccurate or out of date, tell us and we will amend the record.

Delete an enquiry

Ask us to erase your contact message once your question has been answered and we will remove it from our records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. The current version is the one published on this page, and the review date at the top of the page tells you when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we handle contact enquiries, we will say so here rather than leave it to the footer.
